Accredited Exercise Physiologists (AEPs) are university qualified allied health professionals that specialise in providing effective exercise-based interventions for the prevention or management of chronic disease, disability or injuries. An AEP can assist in the restoration of one’s peak physical function, health or wellness through exercise prescription, health and physical activity education, lifestyle modification and advice, and through achieving behavioural change.
AEP’s can offer services for people with cardiovascular, metabolic, neurological, musculoskeletal, cancer, kidney, respiratory/pulmonary and mental health conditions, as well as any other condition where there is evidence that the clinical status of the client can be improved through exercise.
Initial Exercise Physiology Appointments are conducted at The Wellness House where a program will be designed to meet your goals, and consideration for progression to gym based exercise physiology will be discussed.
